Investigating - We have identified an issue impacting the ability to update exisiting policies using the policy editor, where edits will revert the policy back to the original template. This occurred as part of an upgrade to support multiple language.

Our team is investigating the root cause and are working to recover policy editor data. We will continue to provide updates as they occur.

Resolved - Our team has updated the set up documentation to address this change. Under "General Settings," you must uncheck the following box that says Require Demonstrating Proof of Possession (DPoP) header in token requests. Vanta does not currently provide Proof of Possession, so leaving this box checked will prevent you from being able to complete the integration.

Identified - This issue appears to be related to a recent update from Okta adding Demonstrating Proof of Possession (DPop) to new applications by default. We do not meet this burden currently. Unchecking this requirement in the configuration of the application allows us to successfully go through the integration flow

Identified - We've detected an increase in expired magic links, which appear to be caused by email security scanners. These scanners, integrated into email servers, preemptively access message links to check for malicious content. Our magic links are designed for one-time access and are consumed by these scanners before the intended recipient can use them. We're currently working on adjusting this behavior. In the meantime, we recommend discussing this issue with your IT team or opting for Single Sign-On (SSO) as an alternative. Resolved - Since January 2023, there was a bug that may have possibly changed or wiped Security Awareness Training preferences on checklists. On February 16, 2024 we identified this bug and resolved it. If you or your auditor have any questions or concerns, please reach out to support@vanta.com.
